We’ve officially launched Cleaner Connect in Beta, and the response so far has been incredible. But this is just the beginning. Our vision is to make finding a cleaner and growing a cleaning business as simple, safe, and stress-free as possible.

1. Expanding Our Reach
Right now, Cleaner Connect is rolling out in selected areas. Over the coming months, we’ll be:
- Adding more counties and towns to the active launch list
- Expanding our search filters to help you find specialist services more easily
- Growing our cleaner network so customers have more choice without sacrificing quality
If we’re not live in your area yet, you can still register, as you’ll still appear in search results for that area. It just means we aren’t actively advertising in that area yet. However, thanks to the search engine gods, once you have a profile with us, it will be picked up by the likes of Google, Bing, etc., and will help increase your online visibility. Sign up for our newsletter so you know what area is coming next. This way, you’ll be first to know when we launch where you live or work.
2. Introducing Optional DBS Checks
Safety is at the heart of what we do, and while every cleaner is already vetted with ID and insurance checks, we know some customers want that extra level of reassurance.
In the near future, we’ll be introducing optional DBS checks for cleaners who choose to complete them. Profiles will clearly show when a cleaner has passed, giving customers the choice to prioritise DBS-verified professionals.
3. More Resources for Customers and Cleaners
We believe Cleaner Connect should be more than just a directory — it should be a hub for useful, practical advice. That’s why we’re creating:
- Guides for customers on choosing and working with a cleaner, getting the best results, and staying safe when hiring.
- Resources for cleaners on running a successful cleaning business, marketing yourself locally, and managing repeat clients.
These will live on our Help Centre and news page, so they’re easy to find whenever you need them.
4. Easier Communication Tools
We’re working on ways to make communication between customers and cleaners even smoother, including:
- More streamlined messaging tools within the platform
- Improved notifications so you never miss a new enquiry
- A clearer “next steps” process after first contact
5. Community-Driven Development
Beta mode isn’t about launching something half-finished; it’s about launching early, listening, and improving quickly.
We’re actively collecting feedback from:

- Cleaners, what helps them get more work and manage enquiries efficiently
