What is Cleaner Connect?
Cleaner Connect is a UK-based online directory that connects customers with reliable, independently verified cleaners. Our platform is built on trust, safety, and simplicity, making it easier than ever to find and hire local cleaning professionals near you.
Is Cleaner Connect free to use for customers?
Yes. Cleaner Connect is completely free for customers to browse, search, and contact cleaners. There are no booking fees or commissions. Customers pay cleaners directly.
Are you a cleaning agency?
No. We are not an agency and we do not manage bookings or take a cut from cleaners’ earnings. All arrangements are made directly between the customer and the cleaner.

How do I join Cleaner Connect as a cleaner?
Visit our Join as a Cleaner page, upload your insurance and proof of address, and complete our ID verification process. Once approved, your profile will appear in search results and be visible to potential customers in your area.
Do I need a DBS check to join?
No DBS check is required at launch. However, we are working on an optional Verified DBS Check, which will be available through an official provider for added credibility.
What services can I list?
You can list all the services you offer, including domestic cleaning, end of tenancy, oven cleaning, commercial, carpet, window, Airbnb, and more. You can also highlight features like pet-friendliness, eco-friendly products, and whether you bring your own supplies.
Can I work in multiple areas?
Yes. Depending on your membership plan, you can list multiple service locations to reach more customers in your region.
How much does it cost to join?
Membership starts from just £9.99/month with a one-time joining fee of £39.99 for all new service provider members. Optional upgrades are available for greater visibility, featured listings, and higher affiliate commissions. There are no booking fees or hidden charges.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes, you can cancel at any time from your dashboard. Your profile will remain live until the end of your billing cycle if you choose to.
Is there an affiliate scheme?
Yes! Paid members can earn monthly commission by referring other cleaners. Higher membership tiers unlock even more affiliate rewards, including multi-level commissions.

Do I need to register?
Yes. But this is only your name and email address. Customers don’t need to go through the same checks as our service providers. And customer accounts are completely free. We just ask you to register so that we can verify you are a human and not a bot, and for the safety and security of all our members.
How do I find a cleaner near me?
Use our search page to filter by location, cleaning service, and preferences like pet-friendly or eco-cleaning. Browse profiles, read reviews, and contact cleaners directly, no middlemen involved.
Are the cleaners vetted?
Yes. Every cleaner must upload proof of insurance, verify their ID through a secure third-party system, and be manually approved by our team before going live.
Do I book through Cleaner Connect?
No. We are not involved in bookings or payments. Once you find a cleaner you like, simply message them to discuss availability, quotes, and arrangements directly.
Can I leave a review?
Yes. After hiring a cleaner, you’ll receive an invite to leave a review. Verified reviews help build trust and guide others in choosing the right cleaner.

What makes Cleaner Connect different?
We go beyond basic listings. Our onboarding process includes document checks, ID verification, and manual approval. We’re building a trusted directory where customers can confidently hire vetted professionals—and cleaners keep 100% of what they earn.
Do you verify DBS checks?
At launch, DBS checks are not required but will soon be available as an optional upgrade through our official verification partner. We do not accept self-uploaded DBS certificates due to the risk of fraud.
Can I report a cleaner or problem?
Yes. If you encounter an issue, please contact us via the support page. We take reports seriously and will investigate where needed. However we can’t get involved in disputes around standards of work or payment. But if you feel there has been wrongdoing on either side, then please let us know. Frequent offenders will be removed from the platform.
What if a cleaner doesn’t show up or cancels?
Since all arrangements are made directly, we recommend contacting the cleaner first. If you feel misled or unsafe, notify us and we’ll review their account.
